My series is going to use alternative techniques such as flash forward and flash backwards to predict the future and draw relevance to two different events that has happened and the one that is happening presently.
With the research I have conducted i have come to the conclusion that there are slightly higher females that are more interested in horror and thrillers than males and this is because women like to see suspense and like to release or feel adrenaline more than men. And also due to my research I have also found out that people that watch horror movies are usually between the age of 12 to 35, below are two profiles of a 12 year old girl who is very much interested in horror and thrillers more than any other thing and a 30 year old man who is also very crazy about horror and thrillers.
I have looked at their profiles and the videos they watch and noticed that they are more into thrillers than horror and because of these I am planing on making a thriller instead of horror as it also creates suspense and gives out a lot of jump scares as well.
Also throughout the videos and horrors on youtube i found that thrillers have a lot more views than horror showing that people are more interested in thrillers than horrors so based on this findings I am going to be making my video a thriller sequence.
Also due to my research i have also found out details people will like to see in thrillers and intend to add them as well in other to make my thriller sequence more interesting and intriguing to viewers. Effects such as flashbacks and flash forwards will be used more frequently and few of other alternative techniques such as montage especially intellective montage will be used in other to let the viewers think and connect the dots to work out and find out what is actually going on.
MY PITCH; BLACK MAIL
Two tennegares about the age of 17, one named Sam and the other named Emma both at a restaurant where they order a drink before the drink is brought to them a mysterious hand puts a substance in their drink and the drink is been served to them. As they drink they immediately have flashbacks of different people's memory of killing someone, they also have dreams and visions of a mysterious man chasing them. Then a man walks up to them on a random day and tells them that he can help them but they have to travel through time to kill someone, which they do but everytime they try to kill the person they die and wake up on the same day as they met the man and each time they try they lose a bit of their memory making the other memories in their heads more dominant and finally the memories of the people inside them finally came out and took over their body and it was revealed that the guy that put the substance in their drink was the guy who made them time travel and make them live die and repeat finally they both wake up in a white room with no memory but only flash backs of them killing someone.
SCRIPT:
INT: Inside a restaurant, Sam and Emma are seated at a table a waitress walks up to them and starts talking to them.
Waitress
Can I take your order pleases
Sam and Emma both look up at the waitress.
Sam
We will have two milkshakes and two doughnuts, thank you
The waitress goes away to prepare their order.
INT: Inside the kitchen of the same restaurant the waitress that has just taken Sam and Emma's order places two cups filled with Milkshake on a work top, she then goes away to fetch two doughnuts, a man's hand wearing a black suit pours a white substance into the milkshake, the waitress comes back but doesn't see the man as he is invisible, he watches as she carries the cups and the doughnuts to them.
INT: Sam and Emma take a sip out of their milkshakes and immediately they both get a flashback of the same event.
EXT(FLASH BACK): A car park, a man is on the floor begging for mercy as a male and a female stand over him pointing guns at him.
Man on the floor.
please don't do this there is surely another way out please don't
The two don't care and shoot him anyway.
BACK TO NORMAL TIME: They both stare at each other in a weird way without saying anything for a long time.
SPLITSCREEN:INT: Sam and Emma's room as they tuck themselves to bed they both get up to switch off their room lights, as they do they both see a human figure standing and staring at them from the darkness they turn the light back on both no one is there, switch the light back on again and all of a sudden a man with no face standing right in front of them.
INT: Sam's room, the man with no face is standing right infront of him.
SAM
What do you want?
FACELESS MAN.
I want you it's either you give it to me or i take it by force
INT: Emma's room. the faceless man is also standing in front of her
EMMA
Who are you? (she speaks with fear)
FACELESS MAN
I am you
SPLITSCREEN: INT: Sam and Emma's room, the man with no face is standing right in front of the two of them, he then drives his hand through their chest killing them.
INT: Sams room. Sam wakes up and gets up from his bed and looks around he can barely remember anything he gets a flashback to the faceless man killing him, then he remembers that he needs to call someone called Emma as he picks up his phone it rings and the name displayed on it was Emma, as he accepted the call Emma runs into the room.
EMMA (panting)
Get up Sam we need to go now if we want to life
Sam looked at her puzzled
SAM
But this is my house why would I want to leave
As Emma was about to speak, the faceless man walks in and stands right in front of the two of them , he points his gun at them and shoots the wall behind them which opens a time portal which sucks Sam and Emma in but as they travel through time their bodies are merged as one and they both appear as a man on the floor begging two other people for mercy, immediately they both get flashbacks to the time they were in the cafe.
Gunshots are heard they both come out of the man's body bleeding the two people watch them die and after which they took off their mask and they looked exactly like Sam and Emma.
END.

The type of production I will be looking to produce will be a web-serial and its genre is Thriller.
Finance
- Source Of Finance: Most film producers get their finances from either investors investing a particular amount of money in their production to be paid back after the production of the film, while others might get their finances form their own personal savings which in return when the movie makes profit is going to benefit them in a long run there are still other get theirs through lottery and other ways. For my production I'm not going to be needing a lot of money because the essential materials are going to be provided to me by my school for my production. The only thing my school is not funding is feeding for me and my actors which I will be funding myself from own personal savings, my transport and actors transport is already covered as we all have free oyster bus passes.
- Budget Requirements: Ideally as I will be shooting a web-serial below will be a layout of how much is needed and what for they are needed for:
- Cameras- Ranges form £93.99 up to £32,549.46, I will have to purchase one as I'm using a single camera to shoot my web-serial. I will be using the colleges camera which is free on booking.
- Lights and Microphone: £54.99 + £183.64 for both lights and microphone. I wont be needing this as I will be shooting my web-serial during day time and my actors voices will be recorded for a voice over on the videos, it also cost around £500 per day to hire a camera man and sometimes they come with all their equipment's and sometimes they don't.
- Editing suites: can be hired for £500 per day/hour but I'm going to be booking the colleges editing suite for editing of the web series.
- Talent: to hire a talent/ talents will cost like around £500-£700, but I will be using my colleagues who take acting or drama as a course as they will be more professional than others, and because they are my colleagues they will not ask for any pay.
- Crew: To hire a crew for a web series in the real world will probably cost more than £5,100. For my web series we will be in groups of 6 and we will make up the crew as jobs will be split between us.
- Facility Hire: in a real life experience to rent an edit suite for the videos to be edited will probably cost around £550 per day. I will be using the schools editing suite which is free to use.
- TIME
Time and scheduling in the media industry is very important because of a deadline is not met the producers start to lose money as they will spend extra money to buy more time to spend on their project. I will be mostly filming on weekends as the week is occupied for me and most of the actors because of school we should be able to do a lot of different shots in three days so ideally two - three weeks should be enough for filming and editing of my web series. Some work can also be done during week as well.
The equipment I'm going to be using are going to be free as the colleges equipment are free on booking but I will still need to buy some few equipment like props which would normally cost around £500 but can get it for a more cheaper prize.
- CREW& PERSONNEL
For the availability of personals I'm going to be doing this project with 3 or 2 other people so the roles of production will be split between us, for actors we will be gathering talents form our colleagues who study acting and drama as they will fit in and look more professional on set but in a real world auditions will be held to get actors and this will cost the production crew money as they will have to rent a location for the auditions and it will probably cost more money getting a professional crew together such as cameramen, directors e.t.c.

Clearance is paying for copyrighted materials to used e.g music tracks/ sounds. For every time a copyrighted material is shown on another show the owner of the material gets paid some certain amount of money which usually ranges form £50 upwards depending on how much is agreed, because this is a school project we won't have to pay for the use of other sound tracks but for my web serial I am planing on creating original sounds my self as I and most people in my group know how to use Logic Pro X. - LOCATION
Most of our shots will be filmed local that is within and around Kent and we will need a permit form the Kent council to be able to film in specific places, when the weather is not favorable for us while filming we can either film it that way and edit it to look better or use the weather to send out a mood in the series.
The distance for filming spots won't be far away form where crew members live as I said earlier it will be local and all the crew members do live local.
Most materials will be provided by the college as it is free on booking and for the ones that aren't they will be either bought or booked off a booking company for a period of time

The BBFC won't regulate my web series as thy only regulate movies and cinematic shows and theater shows.
